Agagbe: Lobi Stars will capitalize on Gombe United’s triumph

In their upcoming match, Lobi Stars will want to improve upon their close victory over Gombe United, according to head coach Eugene Agagbe.

On Wednesday, Agagbe’s team defeated Gombe United 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium.

On Sunday, Chinedu scored the game’s lone goal.

The Pride of Benue strategist thought that in order for the squad to stay in the running, they needed to win away from home.

In a post-match interview, he said, “The players deserve to be commended for giving us the victory against Gombe United.”

“We will strive and work harder to get an away result against Akwa United in Eket, as the result placed us among the top three on the table.

“The match for matchday 12 is over, and we’re looking forward to the next.”

With 23 points, Lobi Stars rose to the second spot on the standings.

The Yes Father Boys’ next matchup is against Akwa United, and they will be traveling to Uyo for it.
