Posted by According to Daily Trust’s reporting, President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with former governors Nyesom Wike and Nasir El-Rufai at Abuja’s Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
Wike reportedly got to the State House at 1:40, while El-Rufai arrived in the presidential wing of Aso Rock at 2 p.m.
According to EBANTAL, both Wike and El-Rufai have been nominated for ministerial positions.
While the Senate unanimously approved Wike, it has failed to clear El-Rufai due to a purportedly outstanding security assessment.
Some have speculated that measures are being taken to guarantee Malam El-Rufai’s confirmation by the Senate.
