Balogun praises Clement, the new Rangers manager, saying, “He’s very demanding

Leon Balogun, the Nigerian defender, is content with his life at Rangers under new boss Philippe Clement.

After Michael Beale was fired last month, Clement assumed leadership of the Light Blues.

Under their new manager, Rangers have won two and drawn one, making them undefeated.

Although Balogun finds Clement challenging, she is glad to have him as a teacher.

“He has high standards. He told the Scottish Sun, “If you look at his stature and his presence, it’s different, and that is not a dig at Mick Beale.”

“They are two entirely different characters, and while he has standards, he instills a strong sense of confidence in you.”

Balogun was released by Queens Park Rangers, a Sky Bet Championship team, and returned to the team for a second stint in the summer.
