Ebantel remembers that Burna Boy has consistently maintained that Nigerians despise him.
Burna Boy implied in ‘Thank You,’ a tune from his current album, I Told Them, that Nigerians don’t thank him enough despite making the country proud “every chance I get.”
Instead of appreciating his essential musical contributions to the country, he claims, Nigerians circulate rumors that his mother was a dancer for the late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, and that impotency is the reason he doesn’t have a baby mama like most of his colleagues.
