Jonathan revealed this in his 2023 Christmas greeting, which he sent on his official X handle on Monday.

He emphasized the importance of the season in forging unity and rebuilding the nation.

Jonathan urged individuals to defend moral beliefs, demonstrate faith, and contribute to the advancement of the country via acts of love and generosity.

During this period, Nigeria’s 14th President implored Nigerians to provide hope to the hopeless.

“Season’s greetings, fellow Nigerians and friends worldwide,” he added.

“Greetings from my family as we prepare to celebrate Christmas this year.”

“This celebration invites us to bear witness to our faith as Christ’s disciples and to demonstrate the virtues of peace, love, humility, and sacrifice.”

“This period should serve as an opportunity for all citizens to reawaken our faith in God and our country, and to live with the assurance that, despite our challenges, we can overcome them through our collective acts of love and faith.”

“Let us make the most of this season to rebuild our country by loving our neighbors and upholding moral principles that will strengthen the thread that binds us as a people.”

“Let us seize this opportunity to give hope to those in need and take steps that will help our country progress.”

“Let us celebrate this season with love, peace, and unity.”
