Danjuma announces the starting lineup for Falconets vs. Tanzania

According to the Ebantel, Falconets head coach Chris Danjuma has revealed his final roster for the team’s 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Tanzania.

Nineteen of the thirty players in camp have already made the list. Opeyemi Ajakaye and Aminat Folorunso are the two most well-known names on the list.

On Sunday, the first leg between Tanzania and Nigeria will take place at the Azam Sports Complex in Dar es Salaam. A week later, the second leg would take place in Abuja’s Moshood Abiola Stadium.

Following Mauritius’ withdrawal from the competition, the Falconets advanced to the third round.

The competition has been extended from 16 to 24 teams, with Colombia serving as the host nation.

Goalkeepers: Faith Omilana, Shukura Bakare, and Anderline Mgbechi

Defenders: Semilore Oladeji, Jumoke Alani, Oluchi Ohaegbulem, Comfort Folorunsho, Rihanat Kasali, and Shukurat Oladipo

Adoo Tina, Taiwo Afolabi, Shola Shobowale, Aminat Folorunsho, and Chioma Olise are midfielders.

Forwards: Janet Akekoromowei, Chisom Chima, Judith Okah, Opeyemi Ajakaye, and Chiamaka Okuchukwu
