Gov. Fubara ratifies the N800 billion 2024 Appropriations Bill

On Thursday, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara signed the N800 billion 2024 Appropriations Bill into law.

This occurs one day after Governor Fubara submitted and the House of Assembly, presided over by Edison Ehie, adopted the Appropriations Bill.

The signing ceremony, which was held in the Government House conference room of the Governor’s Office, marked a significant turning point for the state’s budget plan for the next year.

Governor Fubara emphasized during the event that his administration is committed to putting infrastructure development first and improving the socioeconomic climate of the state as a whole.

He emphasized that the start of the second phase of the Transkalabari Road is a major budget item and emphasized the administration’s emphasis on important projects that would improve the infrastructure of the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) local government area chairs, the deputy governor, Prof. Ngozi Odu, a few State Executive Council members, and a few additional governor’s supporters were present at the occasion.

“Budget of Renewed Hope, Consolidation, and Continuity” is the title of the budget.
