Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, better known by his stage name Reminisce, is a Nigerian hip-hop artist and actor who has announced his retirement from the theater.

Reminisce, who debuted in the action criminal thriller “King of Boys” in 2018, announced he would no longer take acting roles.

The crooner of “Local Rappers” claimed in an interview with the most recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast that he only agreed to play Makanaki in the feisty crime thriller because he wanted to try something different.

“I won’t be acting any more. I’m over being interested,” he declared.

He said, “No,” even though he would have loved to grant fans’ requests to see him in more films.

Reminisce highlighted his adventurous nature and hinted that he might opt to pursue a career as a newscaster for pure enjoyment in the future.
