Despite the call for a strike by the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), employees at the Federal High Court (FHC) in Abuja went about their usual business on Wednesday.

On the FHC grounds, proceedings continued as usual, with judges, employees, attorneys, and litigants going about their business as usual. On Tuesday, about eight courts were in operation.

However, the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) called an emergency meeting for all employees, and FHC Public Relations Officer G.A. Maku made the announcement. The meeting was set for 11:00 am today.
