Kwara has set August 30th as the deadline for undergraduates to register for the subsidy removal palliative

Kwara State’s government has announced a palliative program for the elimination of fuel subsidies and is encouraging eligible students to sign up for it.

The signup period, which began on August 7 and ends at midnight on August 30, 2023, is already underway.

As previously reported by EBANTAL Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State approved a palliative payment to undergraduate students from Kwara State attending Nigerian universities funded by the government.

The registration process instructed would-be students to go to, click the “Students’ Palliative” link, register their biodata on the platform, and then receive their login details and verification email at the address they provided during registration.

On Monday, in a statement released in Ilorin, the state capital, Prof. Shehu Abdulraheeem Adaramaja, chairman of the government’s Committee on Students’ Palliative, instructed prospective applicants to file for the application online by logging in with their passwords.

“Scan and upload the following documents online (mandatory): a recent passport-size photograph, a citizenship certificate, your admission letter, and an institutionally valid ID card,” the notification continued.
