Uche Nnaji, the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s resolve to address the risk of building collapse in the nation.

Nnaji made this statement on Thursday in Ota, Ogun, during the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute’s (NBRR) 45th anniversary.

Since its founding in 1978, NBRRI has addressed a number of national concerns, including the risk of building collapse, failures of bridges and roads, housing shortages, and engineering materials. The minister praised the organization for its achievements in addressing these issues.

Since the NBRRI was one of the organizations demonstrating a commitment to achieving President Bola Tinubu’s goals, Nnaji assured the institute that the federal government would continue to support it with additional funding.
