RCCG forbids indecent attire on Redemption City’s camp grounds

On Thursday, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) sent out a strong warning to anyone who often dress indecently.
The church leadership has said that it will punish any resident seen to be dressed in such a manner at the Mowe camp ground in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

This was stated in a memo sent on Thursday by Oladele Balogun through Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer’s Special Assistant.

In addition to punishing the youngsters who are caught in the act, Balogun also revealed that the parents and guardians of those children will face consequences, saying that the measure is required to preserve Redemption City’s status as a “Holy City.”

“We would like to formally notify all Redemption City inhabitants that the mission authority is enforcing stronger measures against indecent clothing across the city as part of our commitment to maintaining the city’s sanctity and upholding its recognized “Holy City” reputation.

The mission authorities has now ordered that anyone caught dressing indecently will be severely punished; in addition, the parent or legal guardian will also be punished in the same way.

In order to avoid needless embarrassment, we thus strongly advise all parents and guardians to instill appropriate Christian and clothing principles in their wards. Kingsford Security and security personnel have been directed to execute the aforementioned directions immediately.

The security personnel and Kingsford Security are additionally instructed by this directive to forbid anyone dressed indecently from entering Redemption City immediately. The memo said, “Thank you for your ongoing assistance and cooperation.
