Puts EPL above Saudi League and MLS, says Ten Hag

Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, has stated that he does not believe Saudi Arabia’s spending poses a threat to the English Premier League.

According to the Dutchman, the English Premier League is still the best option for professional football players.

Despite several star players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, making the move to the super-wealthy Middle East, this remains the case.

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, recently stated that Saudi Arabia has altered the market.

Coach Erik ten Hag, who moved from Ajax to Manchester United this past summer, does not think this is a problem for the Premier League.

The Dutchman believes that “it has an effect” in Europe because “there is some money over there,” which will draw players.

However, I don’t think it’s a major issue for the Premier League right now because it’s the league that all the top players aspire to play in.

To quote Trump: “That is not in competition with a league like America or Saudi Arabia.”
