Posted by Big Brother Naija reality show actress, Opara Chinonso Ibinabo, well known as Kim Oprah, has stated that throughout her hardships, she used to sell sachet water and recharge cards.
This was stated by Oprah during an interview with Taymesan on the Tea With Tay program.
She shared her childhood experience, describing how she was forced to live in Abuja barracks after her father died.
“After my father died, my mother joined the military.” As a result, we were forced to relocate to Abuja’s barracks to assist with accommodation.
“When I was in university, my sister and I used to sell recharge cards, pure water, and eggs around our side because there was no nearby kiosk where you could buy those things, so we became the kiosk.”
“To be honest, I’m just glad I went through it because it shaped me and made me stronger.”
“I understand the hustle because I have witnessed suffering.” So going out the other side and being this person means I understand both worlds,” she explained.
