Leaders in Kogi are tasked with promoting security and peace in Nigeria

Nigerian leaders have been charged by Justice Josiah Majebi, the Chief Judge of Kogi State, to act as peace and security advocates.

When Majebi hosted traditional, local, and religious leaders at his Ageva, Okene, home on Thursday, he revealed this.

He clarified that if leaders prioritize the economic advancement of their followers, they should not play about with issues of peace and security since they are intertwined.

The Chief Judge made the argument that leaders should never stop thinking about how their followers would benefit from maintaining peace, even as he expressed his desire for Nigeria to address its problems with insecurity, unabated unemployment, and many other issues.

Majebi contends that a tranquil atmosphere is essential for the growth and well-being of young people, who make up the majority of the workforce in society.

He emphasized that in order to create a calm, productive atmosphere free from crime, leaders need keep emphasizing the importance of providing children with a healthy upbringing.
