Anthony Anene, the Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Kogi State Command, has urged the newly hired officers and personnel of the service with carrying out their jobs without demanding remuneration.

Anene gave the charge during the Nigeria Immigration Recruit 2023 passing-out parade in Lokoja.

He congratulated the freshly recruited officers and reminded them that the service expects them to be loyal.

The comptroller also reminded them that the Nigeria Immigration Service has a well-established disciplinary system in place, as well as a reward system for personnel who excel.

He also emphasized that the service was predicated on discipline and deference to authority, asking them to always align themselves with the rooted tradition.

In Kogi State, approximately 197 individuals were recruited.
